Prepress Specifications

All files should be submitted in PDF format using postcript compatible output. Please review our Prepress Specifications Manual for an in depth look at settings for PDF output and file set up. Click here to download.

We accept both camera-ready artwork and digital files.

Camera Ready
Digital Files
Camera-ready artwork should be printed using a black and white laser printer using a  linescreen of between 85lpi and 100lpi. Inkjet or photocopied artwork will reproduce poorly or sometimes not at all. Digital files are accepted from both Macintosh and PC in the following native file formats. Please check, before submitting files, that we can support your version:
  • InDesign
  • QuarkXPress
  • PageMaker

Please note that we offer free technical consultation to our customers who are designing their own files. It is expected that your files are technically correct when submitted. If Central Florida Publishing has to corrrect your files you may experience printing delays and extra charges.
